As a partner with Stevens Group, Darrin executes administrative responsibilities while also fulfilling his role as a trainer and communication coach. Darrin finds his strengths in applied business communication, speaking effectiveness, and nonverbal communication. Currently, Darrin teaches communication courses at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and is a MBA coach at the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Darrin obtained a Master’s degree in the study of interpersonal communication from the University of Texas, Austin in the spring of 2007. Since graduating, he has taught courses in Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication at Texas State University at San Marcos, St. Edward's University, and Concordia University Texas.

Darrin completed his undergraduate studies at UT Austin in the spring of 2004 in the area of communication sciences and disorders. After completing his undergraduate studies, Darrin worked professionally for two years as an entrepreneur in Austin. This business experience helped to spark Darrin’s interest in communication in the workplace and motivated him to pursue graduate studies.

Together with Stevens Group Darrin has the opportunities to put his knowledge about communication into practice and share it with others. Currently, Darrin is pursuing a doctorate in communication studies at The State University of New York at Buffalo.
